Acer Home Server Reset vs Restore
Acer Windows Home Server: To do a factory reset, turn the unit off. Press the reset button in the back while you turn it on. Once the status light starts blinking red release the button. Wait patiently until the server finds and configures your network. This can take several minutes. Continue your restore from your main PC.
Note: Resetting the system resets the unit to factory condition and all data is lost. Restoring the unit causes you to lose your User Accounts, Add-Ins and IP if static IP Address was configured, however, data will be intact.
